After nearly 10 years in the retail business, Pam O'Neill was ready for a change of pace. A friend of hers talked to her about managing a Hand and Stone Massage store, so she decided to jump into it.
She managed a store in Orlando.
"I loved the whole idea of it," O'Neill said. "I was just looking for something new."
Pam and her husband, Eugene O'Neill, moved to Palm Coast two years ago, and they celebrated the opening of their own Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa on June 3. The store gives massages, facials and waxings.
The store — which is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays — is located at 5200 FL-100, Suite 107, in Palm Coast.
"I'm looking forward to people learning more about us and our services," Pam O'Neill said. "We're trying to create a community feeling. That's why we're here in Palm Coast. We want that hometown feeling."
Mobile Lube, which has been servicing commercial fleets in Flagler County since 2008, is expanding the company with the addition of William Franklin. Franklin, the former lead technician for the city of Palm Coast, will be the shop manager and lead technician for Mobile Lube.
In addition, with the creation of the "Lube Van," they can travel to your location and provide vehicle maintenance and repair services.
