A 21-year-old Navy aircrewman has been charged with raping a 13-year-old Palm Coast girl he met on the dating website Plenty of Fish. The girl's mother discovered the man, Jacksonville resident Bo Sirrine, hiding in the girl's room Jan. 15.

When confronted by deputies investigating the crime, Sirrine said he'd met the girl on the dating website Jan. 12, then communicated with her on Snapchat and Google Hangouts before talking with her on the phone and being invited to her house, according to a Flagler County Sheriff's Office arrest report.

He said that he'd arrived at her house at around midnight, and that she let him into the house through her bedroom window. He said he'd had sex with her that night after "a few hours of communication and kissing," according to the report, and had also returned to the house and had sex with her the following night.

When he retuned to the house and had sex with the victim Jan. 15, the victim's mother heard them and came into the room, finding Sirrine "attempting to hide on the floor on the opposite side of the bed," according to the report. He was wearing only his boxers, and the victim was in her underwear.

Deputies collected materials from the girl's room for DNA testing.

On March 27, a witness provided deputies with a statement in which the victim had admitted to having a sexual relationship with an older man named Bo, who she'd said would also give her massages with oil.

June 7, an FDLE crime lab retuned results of DNA testing, showing biological material from two sources, one of which matched Sirrine. The DNA was 700 billion times more likely to come from Sirrine than from someone else, according to the report.

Sirrine is charged with three counts of lewd and lascivious battery of a victim 12-16 years of age, according to court records. He was arrested June 17 and taken to the Flagler County jail, where he is being held on $100,000 bond.
