Details: Join “Matanzas Riverkeeper” for a 2-hour waterway cleanup aboard The Litter Gitter II with captain Adam Morley. Volunteers will be taken into the marshes of the Matanzas River to collect marine debris, such as plastics and other common forms of litter. Bring a reusable water bottle, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. All volunteers are required to wear pants and protective footwear (closed-toed shoes or boots; no sandals or flip-flops). Wear clothing you don't mind getting wet or muddy. The Litter Gitter II will provide all the tools and equipment necessary to collect debris. Contact Jessica at [email protected].
