Maria Bonita sold

A new restaurant will open in its place.

Maria Bonita Restaurant, 195 W. Granada Blvd., has been purchased by Pedro Navarez and his wife, Gloria Huitron, who own Agave Fresh Mex and Cantina, 1474 W. Granada Blvd. 

A restaurant called Frida’s will open in its place. The building is being remodeled. Nevarez and Huitron started a chain of Mexican restaurants in 1997 in Vero Beach and own several throughout Florida.

The property was sold on June 28 for $1.55 million, according to county property records.
