The first of three Creative Bazaars this summer took place Saturday, June 1, at PCAF's outdoor stage and grassy space, located at 1500 Central Ave. in Town Center.

Nancy Crouch, Palm Coast Arts Foundation executive director, said 25 vendors with all sorts of different creations lined up to sell their goods to visitors.

"It's an opportunity for local artists to come out and share their wears and their creativity," Crouch said. "There are a lot of really interesting crafts out here. I just hope people observe and see what kind of talent is in the community."

Two more Creative Bazaars are set for Saturday, July 6, and Saturday, Aug. 3, at the same location. Fourteen vendors have already signed up for the July event, but Crouch is expecting many repeated vendors from the first showing, as well as new ones to sign up before then.

The next Creative Bazaar will also include some live music entertainment.

Crouch said she launched this event because there wasn't a designated bazaar of sorts in Flagler County like this previously.

"I would like to see this as a regular thing," she said. "We're calling it First Saturdays just because it's the first Saturday of the month. We'll do it once a month. Who knows? If people really want it, we'll continue doing it."
