Details: The Elks Lodge will hold its annual Flag Day Observance ceremony, with a light lunch to follow. If anyone has an American flag with historic significance or a personal story of interest behind it, please bring it to the lodge by 10 a.m. on June 14, with a typed explanation. We will display them for everyone to see.

Details: The African American Cultural Society announces its annual Juneteenth observance, sponsored in part by the city of Palm Coast. Juneteenth is the only nationwide holiday celebrating the end of slavery in the U.S. This year’s theme is “Information Failure = Economic Impact.” The doors will open at 4 p.m. as an outdoor festival, including entertainment, a bounce house, games for children, vendors and booths with resource providers. The indoor program begins at 5 p.m. with vocalist Erica Eubanks, the C-Squad Steppers, poetry by Imani Kinshasa, the Palm Terrace Band of Daytona Beach and a Juneteenth Skit featuring Giovanni Sylvain and Demetrus Headly.

Details: A portion of the proceeds from the event benefits the Flagler County Education Foundation, which provides direct support to Flagler County Public Schools.

Details: Each month, 14 individuals present seven minutes of their creative performance, ranging from poetry to stand-up comedy and everything in between. The first performer opens at 6:30 p.m. The ticket includes one drink and entry into a drawing with a prize of $25 cash or a $50 gift certificate to Hidden Treasure restaurant.
