Halifax Health-Foundation raised $180,000 during its 2019 Bahama Casual gala event June 7 at the Shores Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach Shores. Proceeds will go toward the foundation’s mission of providing education and new, life-saving technology.

In addition to lip-syncing performances, a musical group including Glenn Ritchey, former mayor and Halifax Health Board of Commissioners member, played songs from an album by the Mustangs, a band that Ritchey belonged to in the 1960s.
