Details: The St. Johns-Putnam-Flagler Co. Chapter of The Charmettes, Inc. will be hosting its annual Flossie W. Dixon "I Can Cope" luncheon, honoring a recipient from St. Johns, Putnam and Flagler Counties who is or has been coping with challenges in their lives. Entertainment will include Southern Chaos, Psycho Magnets, Captain Nick, Nate McLaughlin, Verti-Fit Aerial Arts and Yoga and more. There will be a pirate village with a mermaid meet-and-greet and sword fighting. There will be a parade with Flagler County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday at 2 p.m. Parking is free. Details: The festival of Purim is celebrated every year on the 14th of the Hebrew month of Adar. It is observed by public readings of the Megillah, or Scroll of Esther, to recount the story of the Purim miracle, sending food gifts to friends, giving gifts of money to the poor and enjoying a festive Purim meal.
