Flagler County Sheriff's Office deputies from the Special Investigations Unit executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence on Felshire Lane in Palm Coast on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 30, resulting in three arrests.
The search warrant is the result of several undercover operations over the past few months stemming from numerous complaints of suspected drug activity at the residence.
FCSO detectives were able to confirm that subjects at the residence were distributing illegal narcotics. During the execution of the search warrant, detectives discovered three adults and three juveniles residing within the home. Additionally, detectives located a quantity of prescription pills, heroin that was laced with Fentanyl, a small amount of cannabis and various drug paraphernalia.
Shamine Giddens, 32, Kiedra Smith, 29, and Davon Hall, 38, were arrested and taken to the Flagler County Jail.
“This is another great example of how an engaged community can help prevent and fight crime,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “These citizens saw suspicious activity, reported it, and now we have these poison peddlers booked in at the Green Roof Inn where they belong. Remember, if you ‘see something, say something’ and we take all tips seriously.”
Law enforcement notified the Florida Department of Children and Family Services due to the nature of the incident and the children being in the home where the drugs were found. The children were then turned over to a family member who arrived on scene.
Giddens was charged with possession of heroin/Fentanyl, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, among other charges. Giddens has a criminal record in Flagler County dating back to 2007 for similar charges.
Hall was charged with with possession of cannabis under 20 grams. Hall has a criminal record in Flagler County dating back to 2008.
Smith was charged with possession of cannabis under 20 grams and possessions of drug paraphernalia.
This investigation is still ongoing and additional charges may be pending.
