3:06 a.m. — Intersection of Nova Road and Village Trail
Driving With Suspended License. Police pulled over a 46-year-old man because he had an unreadable tag. They later learned the man's Delaware license had been suspended multiple times and that he had failed to pay his traffic fines. He later told police he knew his license was suspended and he didn’t have the money to pay all the fines, according to the report.
A computer search showed the man had two active warrants for his arrest in Delaware and one in South Carolina.
He was arrested and taken to jail.
12:24 a.m. — 400 Block of Windsor Drive
Driving With Suspended License. A 39-year-old man was pulled over after police recognized him as having a suspended license since 2014. The man later told police he just went to the store to get cigarettes.
The man also owed child support. He was taken to jail.
1:15 a.m. — 3400 Block of Ridgewood Avenue
DUI. A 39-year-old man was pulled over after failing to stop at a red light before turning right. He was later arrested for driving under the influence and refused to submit to a breath test. The reporting officer later found an open 12-pack of Bud Light in the vehicle and also noted the man had a Tennessee warrant issued for an arrest for probation violation in reference to a DUI.
The man fumbled through his wallet and responded slowly while providing his driver's license and other documents, according to the report. The reporting officer also noted he could smell the oder of alcohol and that the man's speech was slow and that his eyes were bloodshot.
The man admitted to having a few drinks and failed sobriety tests. He was taken to jail.
