The Buccaneers' football team has picked up steam in the offseason, with several players receiving college scholarship offers from multiple Division I and II schools. Mainland 2020 offensive lineman Katavion Scott scooped up an offer from Savannah State. Fellow 2020 offensive lineman Shayne Brennen added an offer from Florida A&M. The Rattlers also offered 2020 defensive back Ra'Mello Dotson. Dotson also scheduled an official visit to the University of Connecticut on June 11-13. Savannah State also offered 2020 running back Nate Braswell and 2021 defensive back Charles Reid, making them the fifth and sixth Buccaneers to be offered by the Tigers. And finally, 2020 offensive lineman Lukas Walker added an offer from Division II program Florida Tech.
The Embry-Riddle/Steve Riddler Basketball Camps will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 3-6 at the Nova Recreation Center in Ormond Beach, located at 440 N. Nova Road. The amps are open to boys and girls ages 6-14. The fee for the Embry-Riddle/Steve Ridder Basketball Camps is $100 per session. To reserve a spot, a non-refundable $50 deposit is required. The registration form, which includes a consent and waiver form, must be signed by a parent/guardian. All participants are also required to submit the medical release form. There will be a co-ed baseball and softball fundamentals clinic from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 10-13 at the Ormond Beach Sports Complex, located at 700 Hull Road. You can register for the clinic from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, at the city of Ormond Beach's Leisure Services Office, located at 399 N.
