Flagler Palm Coast track and field's Nathan Farrell announced his commitment to the University of Iowa on Friday, Nov. 1. "First off I want to thank god for putting me in the position I am in today," Farrell, one of the top hurdlers in the state, wrote on Twitter. "I thank all the coaches that took the time to recruit me. A big thank you to the Iowa coaching staff for believing in me."

Lovie Haley, a junior on Matanzas' softball team, accepted an offer from Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University to play softball for the Eagles. Haley has been a varsity starter for the Pirates, who were crowned the district champions last year, since her freshman year.
Matanzas football player Rex Robich announced that he went on an official visit to Coast Carolina University on Saturday, Nov. 2. Located in Conway, South Carolina, Coastal Carolina is a Division I program that plays in the Sun Belt Conference.
