Details: Trees and wreaths decorated by civic and community organizations will be displayed throughout the library and Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will meet with children to kick off the holiday season. Live music will be provided by the Sunshine Mafia, a family entertainment group.
“This is a free event sponsored by the Friends of the Library each year to get a start on the holiday season,” said Library Director Holly Albanese. “Community organizations get to show off their decorating skills and there is plenty of entertainment for adults and children.”

Details: Kate Miller will be the featured artist at Salvo Art House.
“The appeal that Kate’s always had has been Modernist,” said Salvo Art Project owner and curator J.J. Graham. “Her newer work is quieter, more meditative.”
Graham said the opening will feature much of Miller’s more active and colorful early work as well.

Details: A local self-help bereavement support organization, formerly known as Compassionate Friends, for families that have experienced the death of a child, grandchild or sibling, sponsored by Vitas Healthcare.

Details: Stroll through the exquisitely decorated community and bid on holiday wreaths. Enjoy desserts and hors d’oeuvres along with live music. Create a wreath to be auctioned off, with 100 percent of proceeds going to the Flagler Humane Society.
Space is limited. RSVP by Friday, Nov. 22 if you plan to donate a wreath. Completed wreaths need to be dropped off at the Windsor by Wednesday, Nov. 27. The wreath with the highest bid at the festival wins its creator a $100 gift card. Call 313-8717 to RSVP.
