After a narrow 13-3 loss to New Smyrna Beach the week prior, Seabreeze bounced back with a dominating performance over Pine Ridge the night of Friday, Oct. 18, at Daytona Stadium.
Senior running back Otis Walker scored five touchdowns in the Sandcrabs' 36-14 win over the Panthers.
"We as a coaching staff know that when we get in the red zone, when our offensive line is doing what they need to do and we have a bigger guy who is going to keep his legs churning, we see that as guaranteed points," Seabreeze coach Pat Brown said.
The Sandcrabs increased their win total to five this season (against three losses). The Sandcrabs, who won won game last season, haven't won five games in a season since 2013.
"Getting to five games is huge for us, but honestly, it was just another game for us," Brown said. "We don't put any game bigger than any other one. Each game for us is program changing. Having one win last year, everybody was counting us out."
