Details: The Police Department is participating in this 2019 initiative, sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration. The public may voluntarily surrender expired, unwanted or unused pharmaceutically-controlled substances and other medications to officers for proper destruction.

Details: Come meet Florida's birds and travel to nearby places to see them with the Halifax River Audubon. This new lecture and field trip series for adults will teach the tools and skills to help you birdwatch in the wild. There are three units to this series. The other two are scheduled for Nov. 19 and Dec. 10. There will be a field trip on the Saturday following each class. Costs $10 per session or $25 for all three. Price includes Saturday field trip.
