For the seventh consecutive year, veterans and active service members can go into any U.S. Great Clips salon, including the one at 250 Palm Coast Parkway, and get either a free haircut or a free haircut card to use later. In addition, non-veteran customers who get a haircut on Veterans Day at Great Clips salons can pay it forward: they receive a free haircut card they can give to an active service member or veteran as a token of thanks. The cards can be redeemed for a free haircut from Nov. 12 to Dec. 31, 2019 at any Great Clips salon.
“As a locally based Great Clips franchisee, I’m honored to be able to continue this tradition in our community with Great Clips for Veterans Day,” said Paul Harris, a Great Clips franchisee. “We’re looking forward to giving back in some small way to those who have given so much.”
Great Clips salons provide over 200,000 free haircuts each year to active and retired military members. That number continues to grow and has added up to over 1.3 million complimentary haircuts for active and retired armed forces members.

Lawn Love, an app akin to Uber or Lyft for professional lawn care services, is launching in Palm Coast.
The service enables its users to instantly schedule, review, and pay for various types of yard work through the use of a mobile app or website. The platform is powered by satellite imaging software which reviews a property and generates a quote in less than two minutes.
“The average lawn care company in Palm Coast has only two employees and lacks the resources to modernize their business models. By partnering with us, these small business owners receive software and support that enables them to compete with dominating, corporate lawn care providers such as TruGreen and Brightview,” Yamaguchi said.
