Pet lovers celebrated their furry companions at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church's pet blessing on Saturday, Sept. 21.
This family event, featuring the Rev. Robert Goolsby, featured goodie bags and advice from Nick Avis and his staff from Southern Wind Animal Hospital.
"We look forward to a more comprehensive event for the community."

The community was invited to bring donations for the Flagler Humane Society and to meet the dogs available for adoptions.
Law enforcement horses and canines were are also part of the event.
Goolsby said pet blessings build partnerships and invite people to the church property.
Lynn Myers, with the Flagler Humane Society, expressed her gratitude for the great turnout, the donations and the opportunity to show the dogs they had for adoptions.
