Photos: Pathways Elementary hosts dads for breakfast

The Dad's Take Your Kids to School event brought the courtyard to life.

Pathways Elementary held its Dad's Take Your Kids to School event on Wednesday, Sept. 25. The event was put on by the PTA, and the school received 47 dozen donuts from Krispy Kreme on International Speedway Boulevard, totaling 1,020. Of that number, 850 were served, according to a Pathways Elementary PTA Facebook post. 

PTA President Katie Thiell said she estimated the student and parent attendees to be about 500. The event is held annually.

"It's for everybody, not just dads," Thiell said. "The kids love it."
