Two new COVID-19 cases reported in Flagler County

There are now 27 cases.

Two new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Flagler County as of 11 a.m. Friday, April 3, according to the Florida Department of Health.

The state's COVID-19 Data and Surveillance Dashboard reported 27 total positive cases in Flagler County at its 11 a.m. update on April 3, including four people who have been hospitalized. The age of the people infected locally ranges from 17 to 77, and includes 14 men and 13 women. Of the 27 total, 25 are Flagler County residents. 

One Flagler County resident has died of COVID-19 as of April 2, the Florida Department of Health also confirmed.

In Volusia County, the state has reported 119 COVID-19 cases, including one death and 32 hospitalizations. Of those, 60 are men, and 59 are women. Of the total number, 116 are Volusia County residents. The age of the people infected ranges from 17 to 89. 

Putnam County has 14 known cases, 1 death and two hospitalizations, and St. Johns County has 110 known cases, two deaths and 22 hospitalizations.

There are 9,585 known positive COVID-19 cases statewide. A total of 163 people have died, and 1,215 have been hospitalized. The state has tested 91,722 people, and the percentage who have tested positive is approximately 10.5%. A total of 82,137 people have tested negative.
