During the first half, both Spruce Creek and FPC remained scoreless despite numerous attempts on both parts. Then midway through the second half of the game, FPC fired off a shot that made it in the back of the net, which left the Hawks trailing. However, mere moments after that lead-changing goal, Spruce Creek dribbled the ball down the opposite of the field and sunk one in the back of the net, bringing the game to a 1-1 stalemate.
