Details: This year's 5K is going virtual with a secret destination finish line. It's a "pick your path race with a real life finish line," according to a press release. This format will allow runners and walkers to participate however and wherever they choose. Over the next couple of weeks, there will be clues released on the race's social media about the secret finish line in Ormond Beach. Once you find it, there will be medals, refreshments, photo-ops and a costume contest. Register at 5k.tomoka.cc. This event raises funds to support local adoption efforts.

Details: The Capt. James Ormond Chapter of the National Society for Daughters of the American Revolution invites the public to attend the ceremony at Hillside Cemetery, where wreaths will be placed on over 243 soldiers' graves. Ceremonies will also be held at Gethsemane Cemetery and Oakridge Cemetery. The latter is sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 1048. Details: One Daytona presents Wonderland, a family-friendly event highlighted by Holiday Showcase Saturdays and Winter Village Sundays. Guests can snap a photo in front of the holiday tree in Victory Circle for a chance to win prizes. Families can also reserve a table at The Daytona hotel's holiday breakfast or lunch experiences, including a sing-along with. Cost for that is $25 per child and $32 per adult. Call 262-1481. Details: Transformed for the fourth year in a row, come out to the speedway for a holiday display of over 1 million lights. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the AdventHealth Foundation in Volusia and Flagler counties. Advanced tickets start at $25. The display will open at 7 p.m. Nov. 26-29.
