Three dogs and one cat have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.
The first dog is Dave, an 8-year-old Olde English Bulldog mix with a brown and tan coat. He has been with the Halifax Humane Society for almost a year, having come in Feb. 25, 2019, and the society is asking residents really consider adopting him. Dave is a good dog, and would be perfect in a household where he is the only pet. He is fun to play with, listens well, sits on command and performs other tricks. His adoption fee has been paid by a donor.
The second dog is Louise, a 6-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a black coat. She is a sweet girl who will be your best friend. She has been with the Halifax Humane Society since Jan. 13, and her adoption fee costs $35.
The third dog is Byron, a 6-year-old Chinese Shar-Pei, terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a brown and white coat. He originally came to the Halifax Humane Society as a stray in July 22, 2019. Dave is a special needs dog due to his hypothyroidism. He is currently on treatment and is a graduate of the Prison Pups N Pals program. He has been patiently waiting for his forever home for seven months. His adoption fee costs $35.
The cat is Daniel, a 9-year-old domestic shorthair with an orange coat. He is an adventurous cat, but will make time to show you his affectionate side. He has been with the Halifax Humane Society since Jan. 4, and his adoption fee costs $35.
To adopt any of these animals, or see others, visit the Halifax Humane Society's main campus, located at 2364 LPGA Blvd., or call 274-4703. If you have adopted a pet featured in the Ormond Beach Observer, let us know for an opportunity to appear in the newspaper. Contact [email protected]
