Eight couples tied the knot while seven renewed their vows during the Flagler County Clerk of Court’s annual Valentine’s Day wedding ceremony. Due to changes in weather, the ceremony was inside the courthouse.
“This is our third year, first time inside," said Tom Bexley, Clerk of the Circuit Court. "It turned very well. It was a more intimate setting,"
The Flagler County Youth Orchestra set the tone for the occasion, and newlyweds and guests enjoyed sweet treats and refreshments right next door.
County Commissioner Greg Hansen and his wife, Linda, were among the guests.
Norma and Miguel Berrios got married today. They started dating two days before Valentine's Day 11 years ago. Miguel proposed two years ago.
Donna and Marc Menzie renewed their vows after 23 years of marriage, and they have been Palm Coast residents for three months. They got married in June 22, on one of the hottest days registered in Maryland.
Their love stays strong with their daily routine of kisses and love reminders.
Beckie McKinley and Robert Uhrich have been together for 15 years and decided that this was the right time.
