Over 140 women gathered at the Palm Coast Community Center on Feb. 21 for the annual Day of Games held by the University Women of Flagler as one of its fundraisers.  Mahjongg, Scrabble, bridge and dominoes were among some of the games enjoyed by the participants. Local merchants were very generous in providing gift certificates and baskets for the raffle that took place after the lasagna lunch.

UWF, established in 2006, provides scholarships to Flagler County female seniors graduating from an accredited high school.  As of this time, more than 80 scholarships totaling over $117,000 have been awarded. For more information, visit uwflagler.org.
