The Flagler County Commission, Flagler County School Board and Palm Coast City Council will all hold meetings and workshops the week of March 2. All of them let residents attend and comment (comments are limited to three minutes). Here's what's on their agendas.

Notable agenda items:
- Jerry Cameron's contract: The County Commission hired Jerry Cameron in February 2019 as an interim county administrator. It then decided in April to keep him on, dropping the "interim" part of his title. But there's been one issue: Florida law generally requires a county administrator to live in the county in which he or she serves, and Cameron doesn't live in Flagler County: He lives in St. Johns County. There is, though, an exception under the law for an "acting administrator," who is not required to live in the county he serves. "This is the role Mr. Cameron currently fills as the County works to resolve complex issues which the Board hired him to address while at the same time training upper level management to foster a viable succession plan," a county staff backup document for the March 2 meeting states. "The amended employment contract the Board is considering today makes this point explicit and restates the other provisions of the agreement." (The "complex issues," the document adds, are the Sheriff’s Operations Center, Plantation Bay Utility problems, Captain’s BBQ issue and storm recovery.) The contract amendment also states that Cameron's performance will be reviewed annually, as will his COLA adjustment.
- Presentation: Old Kings Road Historic District (presented by the Flagler County Historical Society)
- Recognition: National Engineers Week – Feb. 16-22, 2020
- Proclamation: Government Finance Professionals Week – March 16-20, 2020
"Additional items" that may be added at the board's discretion (see documentation HERE):
- Coronavirus update: A presentation by Emergency Manager Jonathan Lord and Department of Health-Flagler Health Officer Robert Snyder
- Plantation Bay Section 2A-F, Unit 8 Final Plat: Approval of a final plat and acceptance of performance bonds and a maintenance bond for 97 residential lots on a 55-acre portion of Plantation Bay known as Section 2A-F, Unit 8. This matter wasn't submitted to the county early enough for county staff to review it before the regular agenda was published, but the applicant, Intervest at Plantation Bay, asked that it be added so that the subdivision could be part of the annual parade of homes.
