Your Town: Ormond Beach woman moonlights as Marilyn Monroe tribute artist

Leesa Marie Benz is a Marilyn Monroe tribute artist living in Ormond Beach, but her look have taken to rewarding paths. 

A post office worker discovered her in 1995, the year the U.S. Postal Service launched the Hollywood Star stamp featuring Monroe. Benz was working as a receptionist in Daytona Beach at the time.  

Benz was encouraged by multiple people to participate in contests and beauty pageants that allowed her to travel and entertain as the Hollywood actress and model. At events, people donate money to charities to have their picture taken with her.
