Two dogs and two cats have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first dog is Chico, a 5-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a black and white coat. He is heartworm positive, but his treatment is covered. Chico loves people and is looking for someone to go on long walks and hang out on the couch with, but would do best as the only animal in the home. His adoption fee is $70.

The second dog is Bubba Gump, a 2-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a tan and white coat. He was recently a blood donor for another animal, loves people and is very friendly. He does like to climb fences, so he would do best in a home with a yard that accommodates his agility. His adoption fee is $70.

The first cat is Mush, an 8-year-old Scottish Fold mix with a grey and white coat. He has cute little folded ears and is a sweet and friendly cat. Despite being on the older side, he loves to play with toys. He does have some dental issues. His adoption is $35.

The second cat is Dora, a 9-year-old grey tortoiseshell-tabby cat. She can be shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she won't be shy in getting your attention. She loves exploring and would love a scratching post or cat tree in her new home. Her adoption fee is $35.
