“It’s amazing what can be accomplished when a group of people come together to meet needs in the community," said Buck James, HUM executive director, in the press release. "We are so thankful for the participation of Hilton staff to help us make grocery bags for distribution in Volusia County."

Each week, HUM staff, along with 40-50 community volunteers, make 1,700 grocery bags containing bread, fruit and canned goods for local families. The bags are distributed to partner agencies across Volusia.

HUM is still seeking more volunteers. Visit uwvfc.galaxydigital.com/need/detail/?need_id=521511.
