Arrow Rehabilitation has organized a Food Drive Drive-Thru on Saturday, June 27, at its Palm Coast location at 31 Lupi Court. Food can be dropped off from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“This is a no contact food drop off,” said event coordinator Amanda Brown. “People can pull up to the tent we will have set up and our volunteers will unload donations for them." The first 25 cars to donate will receive a thank you gift for helping to reach the goal.
Organizers set a goal to collect 4,000 pounds of food. All food will be donated to Grace Community Food Pantry in Bunnell to be distributed to families in need in Flagler County. Non-perishable items such as pasta, beans, canned foods, peanut butter, rice, full meals, canned tuna, cereal, etc. are needed.

As talks of quarantines and shelter-in-place orders began to emerge in the early days of the pandemic, Brandi Jaeger, of Crazy Sock Divas, and Melissa Mondello, of MPower Fitness, hosted their first livestream Zumba class on Zoom on March 25. They were joined by fitness instructor Christine Morin, taking measures to maintain social distance by rotating around Jaeger’s pool.
Other instructors immediately jumped into action and began to do livestreams from their homes as well, hosting over 70 classes in less than two months.
As the popularity of the livestream fitness classes continue, a new platform designed by the two businesses, branded FitCentrix360, was launched, with on-demand workouts and fitness livestreams, as well as nutritional tools and other wellness components encouraged to boost the immune system and overall health. Corporate wellness packages will also be available.
