Info. A 56-year-old Ormond Beach woman called police on her teenaged neighbor after her refused to say hi to her as he passed in front of her house.

The teenager told her that he didn't have to say hi to her after she called out to him a second time, according to the police report, and the woman said that he threatened to slit her throat after he got angrier. She told police she followed the teenager hoping to speak to his mother.

The teenager admitted to police that he did threaten to "punch her in the throat," but only because he felt the need to defend himself as the woman was making "insulting statements and displayed aggressive behavior" by walking toward hm, police report.

Both parties agreed to stay away from each other. The teenager told police, "I'm just not going to walk by her house anymore."

The case of the missing bike

5:02 p.m. — 400 block of North Nova Road

Larceny. An Ormond Beach resident's bike was stolen at a local park while he used a restroom. The resident was then told by someone in the park (let's call him the informant) that their friend said he was going to steal the bike, and then actually rode off with it, according to police.

Police later met with the informant, who said he didn't know his friend's real name and that he lived in the "south side."

The resident's father told police he wanted to press charges.
