Join the city of Palm Coast for the first-ever ‘drive-thru’ Arbor Day Celebration at 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 3.
Due to COVID-19, the 15th annual event will take on a new look, and no venders will be present. Participants must remain in their cars. Staff will remove all items for drop off and place items in your vehicle.
The event will begin on City Place in Town Center. Once on City Place, drivers will be able to participate in paper shredding for free.
Then, proceed to Lake Avenue, where drivers can drop off canned goods in exchange for a free three-gallon native tree and pick up two native butterflies to release at home.
Tree species are listed on the website at https://fullsite.palmcoastgov.com/events/arbor-day. Please make your tree selection prior to entering the event.
One tree per car, no exceptions, while quantities last, and two butterflies per car. Staff will be adhering to COVID-19 guidelines.
As you plant your trees, release butterflies and enjoy crafts at home, feel free to share your photos and videos to social media using the hashtag #PCArborDay2020 and we may share them to the city of Palm Coast social media accounts @palmcoastgov on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
