The Matanzas Pirates fell to the St. Augustine Yellow Jackets 56-21 on Friday, Oct. 16, at Matanzas High.
While the offense struggled, Noah Cundiff kept the Pirates close with two early kickoff returns (85 and 70 yards). Quarterback Ethan Dattilio found receiver Cole Hash for Matanzas's only offensive touchdown of the game.
Matanzas will next travel to play the Lyman Greyhounds on Friday, Oct. 23, at Lyman.
