Flagler Palm Coast and Matanzas high schools kick off the 2020 football season next week. The junior varsity football game between the two schools will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at Matanzas High School. The varsity football “Potato Bowl” game will be held 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at Flagler Palm Coast High School.

Both stadiums will be at less than 20% capacity and both schools are in the process of allotting those tickets. For these two games, all tickets will be pre-sold this year. No tickets will be sold at the stadiums. In order to maintain proper social distancing, every person entering the stadium must have a ticket, regardless of age.

Ticketing information can be found at each school’s athletic department section on the school websites (www.fpcbulldogs.com or www.matanzaspirates.com).

Fans attending all sporting events on both campuses this season must have a face-covering to enter a stadium or gym and they must be worn when the fan cannot maintain proper social distancing. Also, for security reasons, no backpacks will be allowed in any stadium or gym. Additional information regarding the remaining fall sports will come from the schools.
