Hilton Garden Inn wins Best of Best

Hilton Garden Inn-Palm Coast Town Center, owned and operated by Lion Hotel Group, has been recognized as a 2020 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best award winner for hotels, ranking in the top 10% worldwide.

Based on a full year of Tripadvisor reviews, prior to any changes caused by the pandemic, award winners exemplify traveler’s ultimate favorite, top 1% of hospitality businesses around the globe.

“We have a staff that is extremely dedicated and loyal to ensure our guests have the best stay possible, and that is shown by winning this award,” said Ryan Crabb, general manager. “This year has been very challenging, but we have all come together to make sure our guests know that they will have the best and safest experience possible.”

 

Captain's BBQ gets TripAdvisor award

Captain’s BBQ has earned Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice award. According to Tripadvisor, Travelers' Choice winners are calculated based on the millions of reviews and opinions collected in a single year from travelers around the world on Tripadvisor. The award takes into account the quality and quantity of traveler reviews, and ratings specific to each award category.

"We couldn't have done it without our amazing team — everyone that works here deserves credit for this accomplishment," said Marcos McAtee, general manager.

Captain’s has also earned Trip Advisor's Top 10 list for America's Best Barbecue for several years in a row.

Kudos and hires

  • The following agents with Coldwell Banker Premier Properties have been named top agents for August 2020: Ana Medeiros, Top Listing Agent/ Top Sales; Jack Corbett, Top Producer.
  • Bruce Page, Intracoastal Bank CEO, announced the addition of Candice Murphy to Intracoastal as vice president/portfolio manager for the Bank.

 

Bars can open at 50% capacity

The city of Palm Coast reiterates the announcement from the Department of Business and Professional Regulation regarding emergency order 2020-10, rescinding the suspension of on-premises consumption of alcohol at bars statewide as of Sept. 14.

Bars and other alcoholic beverage vendors may resume sales and service of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises with 50% capacity and seated service only.

The city of Palm Coast Community Development Department is working to communicate this new COVID-19 related development to the few business in city limits this affects.
