Daily rules: 75 days. No days off.
Drink 1 gallon of water, 45 minute indoor workout, 45 minute outdoor workout, follow a meal plan, no alcohol, 10 pages of self development reading, take a progress picture.
I completed it, and here is what I learned …
I am a mother of two children and have a bustling real estate career. This is not a weight loss challenge, this is a challenge of mental fortitude. It pushes you to your absolute limits to prove to yourself that you CAN DO ANYTHING. It’s about unrelenting commitment to radical self care.
It may seem that a challenge like this would really complicate your entire existence. It did the exact opposite for me. Living in this way forced me to simplify my life. There was no time for negativity, or excuses…. not even one second.
Hydrating properly and quitting drinking alcohol has given me so much more clarity than I could have ever imagined. I was once using alcohol to drown the stress of my career. Replacing the alcohol and adding the abundance of water was a game changer. I am awake and alive.
Working out twice a day and sticking to clean calorie and macros count helped me to lose 40 pounds and 75 inches. I was nearly sedentary before starting- my body hurt, I felt double my actual age. The endorphins released elevated my mind and spirit every day. I am stronger and healthier than I have been in 40 years. Exercise IS LIFE.
The progress photos made me see who I was then and help me realize how far I have come.
I read far more than the allotted 750 pages! I am beginning to unlock my true and highest potential by educating myself everyday on different things through reading.
So, there you have it!
Before starting this challenge I felt weak, hopeless, confused, misunderstood, tired, depressed and unworthy of self care. Now I feel confident, hopeful, clear minded, energized, joyful, and worthy. Who could ask for more?
I urge you to try this challenge. I didn't have time. I made time. I didn't have strength. I found strength. IF I CAN DO IT, ANYONE CAN DO IT. All it takes is one step. See you on Facebook 75 Hard Flagler!
