Ocean Art Gallery in Ormond Beach has a new artist's works on display.
Jessica Dadiomoff, of Port St. Lucie, arrived at the gallery, located at 197 E. Granada Blvd., on Monday, March 29. According to her website, she studied art at Virginia Commonwealth University, and has shown her works in galleries and shows throughout the state of Florida, including a 2016 conception arts show in the Wynwood neighborhood in Miami.
Dadiomoff, primarily a resin artist, and finds inspiration from nature, especially the sea, her website states.
"Jessica Dadiomoff's arrival at Ocean was even more fascinating than I imagined it would be," said gallery owner Frank Gromling in an email. "When we hung her work on our main gallery's west wall she broke into spontaneous laughter at how beautiful it looked against the white background. I was amazed at the depth of the ocean paintings, seemingly as if I could drop into the surface and sink to the bottom."
According to a statement, Dadiomoff started doing art at a young age with oils and acrylics. She ventured into resin art when she was an elementary school teacher in Palm Beach County. The ocean is a source of inspiration for her because she's always lived near it and has always "gained inner strength from its incredible power and ever-changing beauty," she said.
"When I learned about Ocean Art Gallery, I felt as if I had found a gallery that shared my love for the ocean and successfully represented its artists with passion and a depth of understanding that is rare in today's fast-paced, internet-driven world," Dadiomoff said. "I believe the entire gallery team is focused on doing its best for its artists, clients and community."
