Larceny. Police transported a dog to an emergency veterinarian after he was injured by a car near the 700 block of Granada Boulevard.

Once there, the reporting officer was informed that the dog had a microchip and his owner, a 60-year-old Port Orange, was contacted. She told police that her brother had been caring for the dog and that she was on her way to see the dog.

How did the dog end up on Granada? Her brother told police that he believed the dog was stolen at a local hotel.
