Five Bulldogs win district wrestling titles

FPC wrestled at home on Friday to kick off their postseason action.

Flagler Palm Coast took the runner-up spot behind Buchholz at the 3A District 2 championships on Feb. 20. The day saw many Bulldogs make the podium, with some claiming the title as district champion for their respective weight class. 

Kole Hannant was the first Bulldog to claim a district title, winning his match in the 113 weight class. Continuing the trend, Timothy King won his match in the 152 weight class, Bryce Dodge took the 170 weight class title, Kenneth DeFord won his bout in the 160 weight class division, and Marcelo Gonzalez took the 182 weight class title.

The regional championships are scheduled to begin their competition period starting on Feb. 26.
