Seabreeze falls 12-6 to Atlantic in home turf

Seabreeze shows flashes but Atlantic prevails.

Seabreeze Sandcrabs baseball lost 12-6 to the Atlantic Sharks on Tuesday Feb. 23, in Ormond Beach.

The Sandcrabs started senior pitcher Colt Brown, while the Sharks started senior Danny O’Brien. Atlantic scored first in the top of the first when senior Alex Turner was batted home by junior K. J. Meyers. The Sandcrabs answered with their own score in the bottom of the first when senior Devin Spicer’s line drive allowed senior Zachary Sager to reach home base.

In the top of the second inning, the Sharks got hot, scoring three more runs, and they kept the lead the rest of the game.
