Volusia County to distribute 100,000 masks

The masks are available for free at local libraries, including the Ormond Beach Regional Library.

As part of the Step Up Volusia program, Volusia County Government is currently distributing 100,000 face masks at local libraries and other community locations.

According to a press release, residents may stop by any of the 10 locations to pick up two surgical face masks per person. The initiative will be active during regular operating hours. The face masks are provided by the state, and the county reports it has distributed 500,000 face masks to date.

Here are the locations:

  • Ormond Beach Regional Library, 30 S. Beach St., Ormond Beach
  • Daytona Beach Regional Library, 105 E. Magnolia Ave., Daytona Beach
  • Hope Place Public Library, 1310 Wright St., Daytona Beach
  • John H. Dickerson Heritage Library, 411 S. Keech St., Daytona Beach
  • DeLand Regional Library, 130 E. Howry Ave., DeLand
  • Salvation Army, 1240 S. High St., DeLand
  • New Smyrna Beach Housing Authority, 600 Greenlawn St., New Smyrna Beach
  • Orange City Library, 148 Albertus Way, Orange City
  • Deltona Regional Library, 2150 Eustace Ave., Deltona
  • Pierson Library, 115 N. Volusia Ave., Pierson
