The seventh-annual Granada Grand Festival of the Arts heads back to Historic Ormond Beach on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year the festival will move to a new location: New Britain Avenue between Beach Street and Ridgewood. This will allow for more spacing between artists’ booths and plenty of room for art lovers to stay safely apart as they enjoy the festival. Hand sanitizing stations will be available and current CDC protocols will be in force all day.
The Granada Grand Festival of the Arts offers a generous helping of all things art, from visual artists and art demonstrations to musical performances and hands-on activities for the whole family. Ormond Beach MainStreet and the Ormond Beach Arts District host this free arts festival. More than 50 visual artists and crafters are expected to participate along the street. Our two resident galleries – Arts on Granada and Frame of Mind – will open their doors to the street as well.
As you wander around the festival, you’ll surely get lost in a flurry of sights and sounds. Interact with select artists as they conduct live demonstrations of their technique, then snag something unique from one of the exhibitors selling their handcrafted pieces, the majority of whom reside right here in Volusia County. Local musicians will be on stage all day long to entertain.
Taking in all this art got you hungry? New Britain access gives you instant access to all the great food purveyors lining this block – Fugu Sushi, Cakery Creation, Gold Leaf Coffee Co., 31 Supper Club, Rose Villa Southern Table & Bar, Grind Gastropub & Kona Tiki Bar and 63 Sovereign. Just a few steps more will take you to Hull’s Seafood Kitchen, Frappes Italian Grill, Dunn’s Attic, or Frida’s Fresh Mex & Cantina. Grab coffee, pause for lunch and stay for dinner after the show.
There will be opportunities for young artists throughout the festival including a free kid’s project station and a Young Artists tent.
An updated schedule of Festival events and parking maps are available on Facebook and at ormondbeachmainstreet.com.
