Lorinda Arlene Peterson

It is with great sadness that the family of Lorinda Peterson announces her passing on February 11, 2021. Lorinda was born on June 18th, 1966 in Santa Clara, Ca to Arlene Jennifer Anderson and Donald Michael Levasser.
As a young girl, her family moved to the Coast town of Santa Cruz, Ca, where spent a good deal of her life. She Married her first husband, Scott Andrew Peterson, on May 26th, 1986 and began their family of four not long after; Alexander Kyle Peterson, Emily Renee Davis, Kaila Arlene Peterson, and Savannah Rose Peterson.
She studied Culinary Arts at Cabrillo College and worked as a teacher’s assistant for many years. She worked many jobs to help keep her family afloat from a tech specialist at Texas Instruments to Palm Coast Data, sometimes even cleaning floors to give her family anything they may want.
In 2001, Lorinda and Scott moved to Palm Coast, Fl. Within a few years they divorced and she remarried in 2013 to Robert Edward Schafer.
Lorinda enjoyed art, anything from painting to sewing to building things. She spent her later times sharing her love with her 7 grandchildren. She would visit them multiple times a week, bringing craft projects and ingredients for baking. She was the backbone to every holiday and party. She would cook, decorate and be the person bringing happiness. Her decorations were always handmade, she loved sewing. Her sewing went to making her grandkids pajamas and Halloween costumes, dolls, and Christmas decorations.
Those who knew her, loved her and trusted her deeply. She had an understanding nature and was extremely generous. If you needed her, she would be there doing whatever she could do to support you.
Lorinda was a kind and compassionate soul. Those who knew her, loved her and trusted her deeply. She had an understanding nature and was extremely generous. If you needed her, she would be there doing whatever she could do to support you. She was the person you would call for a shoulder to cry on. She would always put a smile on your face. She paid so much attention to details about people, she would hear that you like something or need something and manhunt for that item and surprise you with it.
Lorinda’s greatest love and pride were her children and grandchildren. Tyler, Abby, Ricky, Clair, Dakota, Hazel, and Ruby will miss her very much.
Lorinda’s death is preceded by the loss of her dear friend, Janice “Jazzy ‘’ Davis.
