Details: Volusia County is hosting a virtual program with Jean Olbert, a shorebird biologist for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, who will explain the challenges of shorebirds building nests on beaches during the March-September breeding season. Details: Join Ormond Strong in celebrating its sixth birthday with a ceremony honoring Vietnam vets. There will be live music, food and museum tours. After the birthday celebration, a 22-hour vigil will be held in memory of the veterans and first responders that die by suicide every day. The vigil will end at noon on Sunday.
