Kiwanis Club helps remove invasive plants for Kiwanis One Day 2021

The Flagler Palm Coast club was joined by other groups in a service project on Oct. 23.

The Flagler Palm Coast Kiwanis Club participated in Kiwanis One Day 2021 by helping with invasive plant extraction on Oct. 23. This is a yearly event, held on the fourth Saturday of October, when Kiwanis clubs around the world invite friends and family to unite for a day of hands-on service in their local communities.

The Kiwanis were joined by Key Club, Builders Club and K-Kids Club members from area schools who were instrumental in the project’s success, by giving 120 hours of volunteer services.

Kiwanis International estimates that Kiwanis One Day contributes approximately 1 million service hours during this one 24-hour period to communities worldwide. Flagler Palm Coast Kiwanis Club has served this area for over 44 years. Visit http://www.fpckiwanis.org.
