The FPC Student Government Association and the Education Foundation invited Flagler Schools "staffulty" (faculty and staff) to join them at the very first Autumn Adventure on Oct. 29, for a spooktacular time at Flagler Palm Coast High School.
FPC SGA created the event as a way to say thank you for all the teachers and staff do for all the students of Flagler Schools by creating an event just for them.
The SGA executive board presented the opportunity at a general assembly meeting and asked for volunteers to lead sections. Those section leaders then created teams where they brainstormed and eventually decided what to create. They worked throughout October painting and making their visions come to life.
On Oct. 29, the kids were ready and excited to welcome the Flagler Schools staffulty. They built a balloon arch to mark the entry door and had transformed the hallways of FPCHS into an indoor trick-or-treating event, including crafts, activities, popcorn and cotton candy. Some of the sections themes were Rapunzel, pumpkins, Marvel, Willy Wonka, and "Up."
Administrator Amy Ferrer's daughter Alli said, "This was the best trick-or-treat ever!"
