Friday, Nov. 26

63rd-annual Gaslight Parade

When: 7 p.m.

Where: East Granada Boulevard

Details: The Volusia Region Antique Automobile Club of America, in conjunction with the city of Ormond Beach and local merchants, have announced the return of the Gaslight Parade. The parade will begin at The Casements and proceed east on East Granada Boulevard before turning right on Atlantic Avenue and continuing south to the city limit. Free.

Saturday, Nov. 27

63rd-annual Birthplace of Speed antique show

When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Fortunato Park, 2 John Anderson Dr.

Details: See the car entries from the Gaslight Parade, and other antique cars, up close and personal. The show features cars from 1996 and older. An award presentation will take place at 3 p.m. Free.

Frame of Mind outdoor market

When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Frame of Mind, 23 W. Granada Blvd.

Details: This annual Shop Small Saturday artisan market features dozens of local artists offering unique handmade goods. There will be live music by Adam Kornecki Trio. 

Sunday, Nov. 28

Holiday concert

When: 3:30-5 p.m.

Where: Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church, 105 Amsden Road

Details: Get in the holiday spirit with the Daytona Beach Choral Society. The choir will perform a selection of advent and Christmas songs, and will conclude with a carol sing-along. Face masks recommended. $10 suggested donation.

Thursday, Dec. 2

OB Life: Westward Focus

When: 6-8 p.m.

Where: Calvary Christian Church, 1687 W. Granada Blvd. 

Details: The city of Ormond Beach is launching a new series of OB Life workshops, centered around concerns over new development west of I-95. The second and final workshop will touch on utilities and public safety. Attending virtually is also an option. Visit ormondbeach.org/OBlife

K of C Poinsettia sale

When: 3-5 p.m. on Saturdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays

Where: St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd.

Details: The annual Christmas poinsettia sale sponsored by the Father Eamonn Gill Council 13018 Knights of Columbus is now underway. The sale will take place in the church parking lot, continuing until supplies are sold out. Fresh, locally-grown flowers in sizes from 6-inch to 14-inch pots are available. While advance orders are not required, you may order any quantity for pick-up by calling Vince at 795-4260. The proceeds of the sale support the works of the Knights of Columbus in the community.

Pop-up at the PAC: A Gallery of Gratitude

When: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, through Dec. 13

Where: Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, 399 N. U.S. 1

Details: See this community exhibit, held in partnership with the Ormond Memorial Art Museum, that features 15 artists whose works consider the art of gratitude — what inspires it, and the goodness it can bring to life. Please use the box office entrance on the north side of the building.

MOAS exhibitions

When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday

Where: Museum of Arts and Sciences, 352 S. Nova Road

Details: Want to spend a day looking at fine art?
