Lillian Todini Vonderosten

Lillian Todini Vonderosten passed away peacefully on November 25, 2021 surrounded by her three children.

Born in Manhattan and raised in the Bronx, Lillian made lifelong friends at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Elementary School in the Bronx and St. Vincent Ferrer High School in Manhattan.

Lillian met her first husband Gerardo “Jerry” Todini in her twenties and their evenings were spent with friends at the Italian Social Club on Van Nest Avenue in the Bronx and afternoons strolling on Arthur Avenue. She and Jerry moved their three children Gerard, Vivian, and Nicole across the Hudson to River Edge New Jersey where Lillian lived for more than thirty years.

Lillian worked at the A&P and as a bank teller.

A parishioner of St. Peter’s Church in River Edge, her faith was always a guiding light in her life.

With the passing of Jerry in 1986, Lillian found companionship and love with her second husband Len Vonderosten, who passed away in 2018.

Lillian and Len moved to Palm Coast, Florida where she co-founded the Razzle Dazzle Gals Red Hat Chapter. Whether it was helping Len with Toys for Tots for the Marine Corp League, organizing a dance, sitting around the kitchen table having coffee with friends, or setting sail on a Red Hat Cruise, Lillian always lived life to the fullest.

In 2017 she moved North to be closer to her children. She will be dearly missed by Gerard, Vivian and Nicole and her many friends.
