Family Renew Community's third-annual Artists with Hearts of Gold fine art exhibit and sale will take place Thursday, Nov. 4 through Saturday, Nov. 6, and the proceeds will benefit homeless families with children.
The show, to take place at The Casements, located at 25 Riverside Drive, will feature artwork by 28 nationally-known and emerging artists, 16 of which are from Ormond Beach. The Artists with Hearts of Gold show, presented by the Adams Cameron Foundation and InSPAration Management, is also available to be viewed online in a virtual gallery beginning Nov. 3.

According to a press release, the original and limited edition works of art featured may be purchased in person at The Casements during the show hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Nov. 4-5, and 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 6. Art prices will range from $100 to $1,000. Breakfast refreshments will be served on Saturday, Nov. 6. Admission will be free.

Last week during a signing ceremony, representatives of the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Urban Chamber of Commerce of Volusia/Flagler County joined together to sign a memorandum of support to better serve the business community, according to a press release.
"Over the past year we have established additional programming through our Equity Diversity and Inclusion Council, led by Carmen Ruiz, Fastsigns of Daytona Beach, and a partnership with the Urban Chamber is an important part of a sustainable relationship for the years ahead," said Bomar Construction's Len Marinaccio, Daytona Regional Chamber's chairman of the board. “We recognize that collectively we offer businesses the opportunity to engage in an inclusive atmosphere and look forward to further collaboration.”
The partnership agreement offers members of both organizations cross promotion and attendance at events and programs.

SMS Healthcare recently announced the hiring of Dr. Yusef A. Canaan as its new chief medical officer.
He's bringing nearly 20 years of medical experience to SMA Healthcare, where he will provide medical leadership and oversight to all of its programs, according to a press release. He will also establish strategic goals for medical programming and services, and ensure all services adhere to and exceed standards.

The Nascar Foundation recently announced the addition of two new members to its board of directors: Nascar's Chief Marketing Officer Pete Jung, and veteran advertising executive Larry Woodard.
“Pete Jung and Larry Woodard are valuable additions to our board of directors," said Mike Helton, chairman of the Nascar Foundation. "Both are terrific leaders with vast knowledge and experience in the sports marketing and advertising industry. We are confident their guidance will help increase the reach of The NASCAR Foundation.”
As head of marketing at Nascar, Jung is responsible for growing the company's brand, driving fan engagement and attracting new fans to the sport, according to a press release. Woodard is an advertising professional with over 25 years of agency experience, and has created advertising for General Motors, Motorola, Heineken, Sprint and the Snapple Beverage Group, to name a few.
