Details: A safe boating class is being offered over two Saturdays, (Sept. 25 and Oct. 2). This two-day course is the one you need to obtain a state Boating Safety Education ID and apply for a possible insurance discount. It's an excellent introduction to boating, boat handling, navigation rules, aides to navigation, Florida regulations, boating safety and more. Presented by America’s Boating Club and the Daytona Beach Sail and Power Squadron. The course materials cost $39.40, and couples can share with a 50% discount at $59.10.
