Details: Attend a live stage performance of "Churchill" by veteran British actor David Payne in the sanctuary of Lighthouse Christ Presbyterian. Payne will bring Winston Churchill to life onstage in this often funny, sometimes touching, engaging one-man show. Tickets are not needed for admission; a freewill offering will be received.

Details: Ormond Memorial Art Museum's free family art night returns to an in-person format at a new location as the museum undergoes construction. Create a Van Gogh-inspired sunflower with art teacher Linda King. All art supplies will be provided. Face coverings are required to be worn, regardless of vaccination status.

Details: Join the Halifax Humane Society for this annual 5K fun run/walk, which takes off at 9 a.m., with registration beginning at 8 a.m. The event is open to walkers, joggers and runners of all ages and skill levels. Leashed and well-behaved pets are welcome to join too. General admission costs $5, and gives you access to the beach course, the vendor exhibits and the bandshell where The Taylor Road Band will be performing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registered participants at $25 a person will receive a complimentary drink ticket, raffle ticket, and a T-shirt. Details: The Father Eamonn Gill Council 13018 Knights of Columbus will serve its famous pancake breakfast in the Social Hall. The meal includes all the pancakes you can eat, scrambled eggs, a sausage link, orange juice and endless coffee. Costs $5 for adults; children under 12 eat free. All visitors, neighbors and friends are welcome.
